Sinah Ehlert is originally from Germany and she did her BSc at the University of Bremen. After that, she moved to Berlin to do her MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Potsdam. During multiple internships in different groups at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Plant physiology and the Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops, Sinah developed an enthusiasm for seed development. Therefore, she decided to joined our group in April 2023 to work on her MSc thesis. Sinah is investigating the involvement of histone demethylases, brassinosteroids and mechanical cues in seed coat and endosperm development.
