Rishabh is originally from India and did his Btech. at NIT Durgapur. Afterwards, Rishabh continued his Mtech. studies in IIT Kharagpur and he moved to Munich to do his thesis work in the laboratory of Caroline Gutjahr in TUM. Rishabh liked Germany so much that he came back to do his PhD studies with us, where he was working on the regulation of seed development by Brassinosteroids. Rishabh is now a postdoc in the group, working on engeering of apomictic traits in Arabidopsis and soybean.
