Marcos Martin-Sánchez

Marcos is originally from Spain and he did his BSc in Biology at the Complutense University of Madrid. For his thesis Marcos worked on the role of ABA on plant defenses against spider mites under drought conditions. This work was done at CIB under the supervision of Dr. Félix Ortego Alonso. After that Marcos did an internship with Dr. Sara Mira Perez at the Politecnica University of Madrid on seed conservation and propagation. Afther that, he moved to Germany for an Erasmus internship in the group of Dr. Camila Caldana, here at the MPI. He then proceeded to do his MSc studies at the University of Potsdam and is working on his thesis in the Caldana group. During his MSc studies, Marcos did an internship in our group, and now he is back for a short stay, while he wraps up his thesis.
