Hajar comes from Yemen, where she studied Medical Laboratory Science in Sana’a University. She then moved to Oman for an internship at the Sultan Qaboos University Hospital. In 2020 Hajar came to Germany to do her MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Potsdam. She initially joined our group for a short-term internship, and is now back to work on her MSc thesis. Hajar is currently studying seed development in species with a cellular-type endosperm.
