Dilsher is originally from India and did his BSc studies (Hons) in Biological Sciences at the Sri Venkateswara College of the University of Delhi. Afterwards Dilsher moved to Kerala for his MSc studies, again in Biological Sciences, at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram. There, he joined the lab of Dr. Ravi Maruthachalam to work on flower development in Arabidopsis suecica. In 2023 Dilsher moved to Germany to join our group as a PhD student. He is currently working on the epigenetic regulation of asexual seed development using Arabidopsis thaliana as a model system.
