Technical Assistant
email: Anja.Pustlauck at mpimp-golm.mpg.de
Anja is originally from Potsdam, in Germany, which is where she studied to become a technical assistant in Biology. As part of that training, Anja actually did her internship at our institute. After her studies, Anja moved to the Christian-Albrechts-Universität in Kiel, where she worked with different plant species: Arabidopsis, tobacco and rapeseed. She then moved to the Max Planck Institute of Biophysics in Frankfurt am Main, where in addition to molecular work in bacteria, Anja contructed biochips for nanotechnologies. Then she moved back to Potsdam to work in two companies: first at GILUPI and then at the Institute for Grain Processing. Finally, Anja decided she wanted to work with plants again, and re-joined our institute, now as a full Technical Assistant. Here, Anja is involved in several aspects of lab management, together with active research on molecular biology and on reproductive traits in different plant species.
